# Privacy Policy for Balkan Mixtape

KPDev ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Balkan Mixtape mobile and desktop application (the "App"), identified on Android and Apple platforms by the bundle identifier `com.kpdev.mixtape`.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App, why it is handled, and the choices available to you.

## 1. Information We Collect

The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, payment information, or other directly identifying information.

We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs, and we do not track users across apps or websites.

## 2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores limited preferences and usage state locally on your device to provide its features. This may include:

- your last selected channel and track;
- playback position and listening-time counters;
- autoplay preferences;
- notification preferences;
- whether an in-app review or notification prompt has previously been displayed; and
- other basic settings required for the App to function.

This information is stored locally using platform-provided application storage. We do not transmit this locally stored information to our own servers.

You can remove this information by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

## 3. Audio Streaming and Network Information

The App retrieves playlist information and streams audio files from Cloudflare R2. When your device connects to this service, Cloudflare may automatically process technical information necessary to deliver the requested content, such as:

- your IP address;
- request date and time;
- requested file or URL;
- device, browser, or network information included in standard internet requests; and
- diagnostic, security, and delivery logs.

We use this service only to provide playlists and audio streaming, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and securely deliver content. The App does not send your locally stored listening history or preferences to Cloudflare.

## 4. Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications, the App may schedule local reminders on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be denied or disabled at any time through the App or your device settings.

The App does not use remote push-notification tokens or send notification-related personal information to our servers.

On Android, the App may use system permissions needed to schedule and restore local notifications after a device restart.

## 5. Background Audio

The App uses background playback and media controls so audio can continue playing when the App is not in the foreground. On Android, this requires foreground-service, media-playback, wake-lock, and internet permissions. These permissions are used only to provide audio playback and related controls. They are not used to collect personal information.

## 6. App Store Reviews

The App may ask whether you would like to leave a review. If you choose to do so, the request is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play services. Your interaction with those services is governed by the applicable platform provider's privacy policy. We do not receive your store account details or the content of your review directly from the App.

## 7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Technical network information may be processed by Cloudflare as described above. Apple and Google may also process information when they provide operating-system, notification, media, review, download, security, or store services. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of the App. Because we do not operate user accounts or collect user-submitted personal information through the App, we generally do not possess information that identifies individual users.

## 8. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored App preferences remain on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

We do not maintain a developer-controlled database of user accounts, listening histories, or personal profiles. Technical records processed by third-party infrastructure providers may be retained according to those providers' security, operational, and legal requirements.

If you contact us directly, we may retain your message and contact details only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of such correspondence by contacting us using the address below, subject to any legal retention requirements.

## 9. Security

The App uses HTTPS connections to retrieve playlist information and stream audio. We limit data handling to what is reasonably necessary for the App's operation. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

## 10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

If the App is offered to children in a jurisdiction with a higher minimum age for digital consent, the applicable local age requirement will apply.

## 11. International Processing

Internet infrastructure and platform providers may process technical information in countries other than the country in which you live. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy terms and applicable legal safeguards.

## 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date at the top of this document. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its store listing where appropriate.
